By using PDCA cycle we resolve our problem more effectively
The PDCA Four Model or Step
1.Plan
This step is used for solving problem or change a process if required in this step we identify and analyse the problem and identify the issue and cause of problem.
During planning some of the question as below
- What is the problem ?
- Information about problem and its root cause
- The problem is flexible for solving purpose
- Required resource for problem solving
- Available resource
- What are the success ratio ?
For better result make sure planning is doing in group and write down all ideas and results because you will check yours results in CHECK stage.
2.Do
When you found the right solution of a problem you can implement the same here small change are tested and collect data to see how effective the change is.
3. Check
After completion of trial review and analyse the result this is very important stage of PDCA cycle because here we evaluate our solution and revise plan if necessary. Here we check is there any problem in process and in which step improvement required.Your evaluation in this step will guide your decision in next step,so consider the result carefully.
4.Act
It is as per plan you can implement your tested plan.
Question before you process this step
- Requirement of resource for implementing the solution at full scale
- Employees training need identification
- Measuring and tracking system of performance of your solution
- Improvement opportunities
- Learning for next project
If any case plan not work you can repeat Plan-Do-Check-Act(PDCA) Cycle again and again
