What is Quality Core Tools ? - 5 Core Tools of Quality Managements System.

There are many tools of quality system but to streamline the process some of major or core tools which every industry used in there manufacturing system by using these tools we very well manage our organisation system from new product development stage to product delivery stage.The potential of these core tools in an manufacturing industry is to launch the product as per target date and minimise the product and process risks,improved customer satisfaction,improve product delivery and quality,reduced variations in process.

1.Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)

      APQP is a structure for defining,planning and activity completion to produce components as per customer quality needs.There are some quality tools which make effective APQP system like,CP,FMEA etc

APQP Consists in Five Phase

2.Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

    This quality tools is used for assesses the potential risks of system failure in terms of design and process,we are doing FMEA in two stage design and process (DFMEA or PFMEA).FMEA is based on his three mains terms Severity,Occurrence and Detection.

Severity-It shows that how the potential consequences is serious in particular failure mode.

Occurrence-It is totally based on existing data of an industry and shows the failure mode occurring probability.

Detection-Its shows that how the failure mode is easily identify once it has occurred. 

By the helps of above FMEA terms every industry calculate a Risk Priority Number (RPN)
this number is depend upon industry to industry and product to product also.

3.Measurement Systems Analysis(MSA)

MSA include Gauge Repeatability & Reproduciblility study , it have five parameters : bias,linearity,stability,repeatability & reproduciblility. By this tools we measure data from manufacturing process,if our data is improved our quality of decisions also improve.

4.Statistical Process Control(SPC)

   SPC result show the critical dimension process are stable or any issue, special characteristics is a product characteristics or any process parameter,there is some identification and display on production line where special characteristics is belong.

5.Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

   PPAP is a approval process of new develop part and revised parts as well.PPAP is mostly used in automotive industry,every manufacturer produced parts as per his customer required quality for managing these quality from development to delivery customer verify the supplier process and manufacturing facility customer also verify documents which supplier use during part manufacturing,there are different number of document every supplier used during part manufacturing.

There are Five Level of PPAP.
